Duncan was quite an entrepreneur and the founder  of "ProvoFireworks.com". In November 2018 he passed away unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism and is survived by his wife and three children.

The business was acquired by friend and fellow entrepreneur Brian Parker and renamed: "Duncan's Fireworks" in his honor. 

​

Also in his honor, a substantial portion of the profits are donated to the Lillico family every year.
